The Gaithersburg High School NJROTC program is a leadership elective course offered to all students who attend Gaithersburg, Watkins Mill, Rockville, Richard Montgomery, or Quince Orchard high school. This program teaches students about leadership, citizenship, Mari-times science, and naval history. Physical Fitness (PT), Uniform Inspection (UPI), and Drill are also part of the course. Students have the opportunity to join our Drill, Seal, Sail,Orienteering, Color Guard, and Rifle teams. Students also have opportunities to participate in volunteer events, color guard performances, field trips,and etc. All Uniform, PT gear, Textbooks, and other materials are provided by the unit.
