DRILL TEAM

The drill team is an exciting extension of the discipline teamwork and leadership skills learned in class. When cadets participate in local competition they confer as much pride on their school as varsity team sports. JROTC drill teams are considered an excellent means to creating appropriate attention, publicity, and interest in the JROTC program and for maintaining a high state or morale. 

ATHLETIC TEAM

The athletic team is an adrenaline packed team dealing with all types of fitness. We specialize with push ups, sit ups and runs consisting of the 100 and 200. We practice with intensity and cadets learn how to become healthier as an individual. Each cadet participating is held to a high standard and taught a lesson of not giving up and pushing through the pain.

ACADEMIC TEAM

The academic team's main focus is to ace for high scores during competitions. 

Each individual on the team is responsible for studying parts of exams that will be present during one of the meets. Each team member is set to have an 80% or higher on their test scores. These cadets have a high academic level.

RIFLE TEAM

Rifle team is a competitive sport in marksmanship. Cadets are taught how to properly shoot a pellet from long or short distances. Cadets also learn safety regulations when handling a rifle.

ORIENTEERING TEAM

Orienteering is a group of sports that require navigational skills using a map and compass to navigate from point to point in diverse and usually unfamiliar terrain whilst moving at speed. Participants are given a topographical map, usually a specially prepared orienteering map, which they use to find control points.

COLOR GUARD

 Color Guard is a team that has the honor of presenting the American Flag in a variety of settings including celebratory events, memorial services, and even professional sporting events.
